This is a site two moms and dear friends dreamed up on the phone one day. We were discussing how we felt our philosophies weren’t really meshing with our realities. We both value nature and social responsibility but weren’t doing much in our lives to promote them as priorities. As we embrace motherhood, we wondered what examples we were setting for our children. We ended the conversation with a vow to do what we could to help other moms who felt the way we did: overwhelmed by all that needs to be done and afraid to commit too much more of ourselves in our overcommitted days.
